Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and IXTAbox AB (org. no. 559369-5488, VAT SE559369548801), Holmsätersgatan 7, 504 58 Borås, Sweden (“IXTAbox”, “we”, “us”).

They apply to this application: the Buyer Portal (catalog, configurator, requests, proposals, checkout, orders, and documents) and the Ops Console (internal operations). The Shopify store at ixtabox.com is a separate shop and may have additional store policies.

By creating an account you must first accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. Using the service after that also means you agree. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

IXTAbox designs and manufactures towbar cargo systems (Classic, Pro, and Caravan lines) and related accessories. In this application you can:

• Create a buyer account and keep a profile (name, contact, address, car model).
• Configure a box, request a proposal, and correspond with sales.
• Review a formal proposal, accept or decline it, and place an order.
• Report a bank transfer so we can match payment and start production.
• Track order stages and open commercial documents.

Staff use the Ops Console to plan stock, capacity, procurement, production, and proposals. Features may change as we develop the product. Catalog prices, lead times, and buildable quantities are planning figures until a proposal or order is confirmed.

You must provide accurate details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that is inaccurate, unused, or used in a way that breaks these terms or the law.

The Buyer Portal is for customers. The Ops Console is only for authorised IXTAbox employees. Do not share staff credentials. Staff who connect Gmail do so only to send proposal and order email from IXTAbox; that connection can be revoked at any time.

The configurator builds a specification and a list price from the options you choose. Draft configurations are stored in your browser until you check out or leave the session. A Request Proposal is not an order; it asks sales to review your use case, vehicle, and delivery details.

A proposal is an offer from IXTAbox. It states parties, specification, prices (including VAT where shown), payment instructions, and validity. It becomes binding only when you accept it in the portal (or otherwise in writing) and we confirm. We may withdraw a draft or expired proposal. Soft stock holds on materials are planning tools, not a guarantee of allocation until an order is confirmed.

Checkout and proposal acceptance create an order in our system. Unless a proposal says otherwise, payment is by bank transfer to IXTAbox AB:

Use the invoice or proposal number as the payment reference. Manufacturing normally begins after we can match the payment. Reporting a transfer in the portal helps us match it; it does not by itself prove that funds have arrived.

Boxes are configured and built to order. Lead times shown in the portal are estimates. Delivery or pickup (including via GLT Herrljunga AB where stated) depends on production status, transport, and the address you give us.

If you buy as a consumer in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer law applies and cannot be waived. Configured IXTAbox products are made to your specification (size, options, and accessories). For such goods, the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts typically does not apply once production has been tailored to you. If a standard, unmodified item is sold, any applicable cooling-off period will be stated on the proposal or invoice.

Shipping, warranty, and refund rules for goods sold through the Shopify store are described on ixtabox.com. For portal orders, contact us if there is a defect, transport damage, or a specification error; we will remedy according to Swedish sales law and any written warranty we give you.

IXTAbox, the product names, part-numbering scheme, assembly articles, photographs, and the software in this application are owned by IXTAbox or its licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service to configure, request, and buy products. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service or our content except as the law allows.

You grant us a licence to use the information you submit (including vehicle, address, and intended use) as needed to quote, manufacture, deliver, and support your order.

You must not:

• Misuse accounts, probe the system, or attempt unauthorised access.
• Submit false payment reports or impersonate another person or company.
• Use the Ops Console unless you are an authorised employee.
• Interfere with other users or with production and inventory data.

We aim to keep the service available but do not warrant uninterrupted access. Catalog data, stock, and capacity figures can change. To the extent Swedish law allows, IXTAbox is not liable for indirect loss (including lost profit or production downtime) arising from use of the portal or console.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law. For consumers, your statutory rights remain intact.

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA. Courts of Sweden have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of residence where the law so provides.

We may update these terms as the product develops. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms, except where the law requires a different process. If you do not agree, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.
